CARDS
Lost or Stolen Card Reporting Now Includes Replacement
Reporting a lost or stolen card is now faster and more seamless. When a cardholder reports a card as lost or stolen, the system guides them through issuing a replacement as part of the same flow.
As part of this update:
- Cardholders confirm a shipping address (reuse an existing address or enter a new one).
- A replacement card is automatically issued and displayed as soon as the process is complete, so users can quickly move forward without additional steps.
- Admins receive an email notification when a card is reported as lost or stolen, and a replacement is issued, helping them stay informed and take follow-up action if needed.
For step-by-step instructions, see Report and Replace a Lost or Stolen Card.
CARDS
Cardholder Name Now Defaults Automatically During Card Creation
Virtual cards now display the assigned cardholder’s name on the card image instead of the company name. Previously, some virtual cards showed a different name than expected, depending on how and where they were created. This update ensures the card image consistently reflects the cardholder’s name, providing clearer identification and a more consistent experience.
- Who is affected: Customers creating new virtual cards.
- Customer action required: None. This change applies automatically to newly created cards.

Updated Emburse Cards Logo
The Emburse Cards logo has been updated across the application to reflect the current Emburse brand.
You may notice the new logo anywhere the Emburse Cards brand appears, including navigation and card-related screens. This update does not change how cards work or how you complete tasks.
- Who is affected: All customers using Emburse Cards.
- Customer action required: None.
Bug Fixes
CARDS
Language Setting Now Applies Correctly
Some admins were unable to change the application language in Emburse Cards. Selecting a different language had no effect, which prevented localized use of the interface.
This issue has been fixed, so language changes now apply correctly when updated in user settings. This affected admins attempting to switch languages in the Cards UI.
