EU And UK PIN
PIN requirements for Emburse Cards in the EU and UK depend on whether the card is virtual or physical and how the country processes PIN verification and PIN changes.
Virtual Cards
Virtual cards do not require a PIN.
Physical Cards
Physical cards require a four-digit PIN for in-store purchases.
Set A PIN During Activation
When a cardholder activates a physical card, they create a PIN.
| 1. | Select Confirm Activation. |
| 2. | After activation, a four-digit PIN displays. This is the assigned PIN for the card. |
| 3. | If needed, change the PIN after activation. |
View A PIN
Cardholders can view their PIN from the Emburse Cards dashboard.
| 1. | Go to Cards. |
| 2. | Select the card. |
| 3. | Select View PIN. |
Reset Or Change A PIN
Only the assigned member can change a card’s PIN.

After changing a card’s PIN using the Emburse Cards Dashboard, the card must complete one transaction using the card’s previous PIN. After that, the new PIN takes effect
PIN changes at ATMs take effect immediately for all PIN verifications.
