Do Emburse Cards Have PIN Numbers? (US Accounts)

Emburse Cards for US accounts are credit cards. They do not have PIN numbers and cannot be used for ATM withdrawals or cashback transactions.

ATM Withdrawals And Cash Back

Emburse Cards are credit cards, not debit cards. As a result, they do not support cash withdrawals or PIN-based transactions.

You cannot use an Emburse Cards card to withdraw cash at an ATM or to receive cash back at a store.

If you attempt to withdraw cash using an Emburse Cards card, the card will automatically be suspended. Only an Emburse Cards admin can reactivate the card.

When A Merchant Asks For A PIN

There is no PIN associated with Emburse Cards.

When traveling internationally, some merchants may request a PIN. In this situation:

1.Ask the merchant to process the transaction as Credit, not Debit.
2.If prompted for a PIN, ask the merchant to bypass the PIN entry and select Enter or Next without entering a PIN.
