Share Cards - USA Users

Shared cards allow USA users to share a virtual card using a secure link. Use this feature when someone other than the assigned cardholder needs to make purchases with the card.

Card sharing is available for virtual cards only. The option does not appear for physical cards.

Share A Virtual Card

Follow these steps to generate a secure shared link for a virtual card.

  1. Go to the Cards page.

  2. Select the virtual card you want to share.

  3. Select More, then select Share Using Link.

A verification code is sent by email when you create a shared link.

  1. Under Using Shared Link, create a link to allow anyone with the link to access the virtual card.

Shared Link Settings

Customize how the shared card link behaves before sending it.

Shareable Link

Control who can access the card.

Anyone with the link can view the card details.

Email Shared Link

Send the link directly from the platform.

Email the link to any recipient, including users outside of your Emburse Cards account.

Hide Balance

Limit visibility of available funds.

Prevent anyone with the link from seeing the card balance.

Password Protect

Add an extra layer of security.

Require a password before the card details can be viewed.
